Wildly Wed at The Bothy is a deeply personal wedding experience, created for couples who want something simple, meaningful and rooted in nature. It’s ideal for elopements and intimate celebrations, where the focus is on connection, the landscape, and time together rather than on tradition or spectacle.

The setting
The Bothy is a completely private hideaway set high in the Menteith Hills, surrounded by uninterrupted 360-degree green views. Remote, peaceful and deeply connected to the land, it offers a rare sense of stillness and space, making it an extraordinary setting for an elopement or small wedding celebration.
In addition to The Bothy, our holiday cottages can accommodate up to nine additional guests. This allows couples to share their wedding with a small circle of family or friends, while still giving everyone their own space to retreat to at the end of the day.
Nether Glenny offers a balance of togetherness and privacy that is hard to find elsewhere.
Your wedding weekend
Wildly Wed is designed as a relaxed, unhurried experience that unfolds over several days, allowing you to truly settle into the moment.
Arrival
Arrive from mid-afternoon and be transported to The Bothy. A welcome hamper awaits, tailored to your preferences, and your wood-fired hot tub will be ready for you to unwind and take in the views.
Your wedding day
Begin the day slowly, with time to enjoy the surroundings and prepare in a way that feels right for you. We can recommend trusted local celebrants who share our approach to relaxed, meaningful ceremonies.
After your ceremony, enjoy a wedding lunch at a time that suits you, either privately at The Bothy or in The Pantry. The rest of the day is yours to shape — unhurried, personal and full of quiet celebration.
The days around it
Breakfast hampers can be delivered exactly as you like, and transport to and from The Bothy is included as part of the experience. The focus throughout is ease, comfort and allowing the weekend to flow naturally.
